Life After leaving CBA at the age of 16, I went to Boston University. At BU, I was very active in the Social and political issues of the day. My friends and I helped organize the Anti_apartheid protests,which led to many things. One event that stuck out, was the shutting down of Boston University. It was the firrst shut down of the campus by students since the 1970's. I helped start the Latino Student Union at BU. In union with other groups we won the student gov't that year . While at BU I recieved a degree in International Relations. I then moved back to Albany and went back to school at SUNY Albany. There I pledged Phi Iota Alpha inc. I helped start a newspaper Latino journal and published that for like 10 years. Then worked in the NYS Senate. I nightmarish experience working for Senator Ada L.Smith.
